Remembering Your Conception

Unexpected as it may seem, clear and detailed memories of conception come easily to Karmic Therapy patients, usually from a vantage point hovering above the parents during sexual intercourse. During recall of conception, there is access to the physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts (conscious and unconscious) of both parents. Like birth, conception is a major point of transition from nonphysical to physical existence, a point at which every detail leaves a telling impression. Perhaps it is no surprise, then, that the parents’ attitudes and feelings towards themselves, their partner, their bodies, and towards the experience of sexual intercourse become a blueprint for patients’ own attitudes and feelings about sexuality and intimate relationships.
