The next example illustrates the precision of linkage between past life trauma and painful events in the current lifetime. Jill recalled death in ancient Rome as a Christian martyr mauled by a lion in the arena. While feeling shock and disbelief that the cheering crowd could actually enjoy her death agonies, Jill suddenly recalled the moment just after her birth when she was left lying in misery on a cold examining table while the delivery room personnel stared down at her, laughing and joking, like the callous crowd in the Roman arena.
