The Interim Period
By Stephen Proskauer MD | November 16, 2009
We call the out-of-body state between lives that’s accessible in Karmic Therapy work the interim period. In Buddhist texts it is some- times referred to as the bardo or middle-life. Interim experiences in Karmic Therapy have a quality of peacefulness and detachment, free of pain and fear. The concern of the interim is review of past lives on the physical plane and preparation for a new life. Viewing our experiences from the broad perspective available in the interim, we can understand the karmic lessons being learned in this lifetime and the reasons for choosing particular parents and other significant relationships. Interim experiences reveal consciousness at work, selecting from among the probabilities that are permitted by the pilot wave or quantum wave function of the soul.
