The Clearing Process in Karmic Therapy
By Stephen Proskauer MD | January 29, 2010
Looking back on the course of Sheila’s work, a pattern is discernible in the clearing process that is characteristic of this method. Her first block emerged as a localized sensation of pain or tension. After Sheila vented the thoughts and emotions that had been frozen into that particular block, the physical sensation diminished and eventually disappeared. Then another locus of pain and tension immediately arose elsewhere in the body—this one associated with its own set of suppressed thoughts and emotions, following naturally upon what had just been expressed in connection with the previous block.
