Prenatal Influence on Chronic Anxiety and Depression
By Stephen Proskauer MD | March 30, 2010
“Depressive characters,” people for whom depression is a way of life, are frequently resistant even to prolonged and intensive trials of conventional therapy. Karmic Therapy often reveals maternal depression during pregnancy, the specifics of which have determined the patient’s self-concept at a deep unconscious level.
The same principle applies to chronic tension and anxiety states that are recalcitrant to therapy. The positive impact of prenatal work is so great that I would agree with Morris Netherton in choosing the prenatal area before past lifetimes or early childhood if I had to pick just one source of trauma to focus on.
